The IQ 5 is the result of intensive engineering and development and naturally of the continuous feedback from our customers and test pilots. The preferences and demands from everyday’s flight experience were the main and direct input for our evaluations. The outcome of our efforts is a highly comfortable, nevertheless conclusively functional light weight harness, whose design makes you keen on the next flight and whose ingenious performance sets new standards.
Again, the U-Turn philosophy, high security and high performance have been put into practice. The IQ5 is provided with a ram air airbag.
The approval tests certify excellent damping values for the airbag. The full protective effect is reached already with the take-off, thus the pilot is particularly secure in the IQ5. The safety equipment also includes the reserve parachute container, integrated below the seat board. The parachute is activated via the
ergonomic perfectly positioned handle.
