Courses
Note:
Due to safety reasons, you will need to train (on average) between
8-16 hours until you are ready to take your first solo high flight,
usually off Bridal Falls (2500’ AGL) or Mt. Woodside (2250’
AGL). If you are not ready to fly solo, we will gladly take you
on a tandem flight or two.
Solo
Lessons I - $200 (tax included)
Starts at 1pm til dark on most Fridays
(weather permitting)

(Duration two evenings after
5pm)
This course will prepare you for flight.
You will spend a good part of your training time inflating the
wing, with the help of our instructor(s), then when you have successfully
demonstrated proper technique, we will send you on your first
training flight. Expert take off and landing guidance will be
provided as well as in-air instructions over a two-way radio.
Note: you have one year to complete this course (no refunds).

Solo Lessons
II - $400 (tax included)
Starts at 1pm til dark on most Fridays (weather permitting)

2 high flights
(Duration 3 or more days)
After spending two evenings training with
us (as above), we will start your morning training with theory
and ground inflations. Then you will experience two more high
flights. Expert take off and landing guidance will be provided
as well as in-air instructions over a two-way radio. Note: you
have one year to complete this course (no refunds).
Instructor to Student Ratio - 2:1
(one instructor to launch another to land)
Includes a free HPAC flight log book

to try just five highflights, then decide if they want to continue
their training and eventually get their HPAC Novice rating.

5 high flights

Deimos Student
Gear Rental $50 (per day) - (tax
included)
  
For Deimos Paragliding students, that need
their own gear (flights 11 or more), you may rent any of our used
or new wings, reserve and harnesses for only $50 a day (tax included).
In order to ensure the highest level of safety, only wings and
harnesses, purchase from us, may be used during our solo courses.
The money spent on renting our gear may
be applied to the cost of purchasing one of our new wings or harness
packages. Don't worry, you will not be charged if the weather
is not flyable. If you rent our gear and happen to damage it,
or loose it, then be prepared to pay for the repairs costs and
or the full replacement cost(s).

(Duration 12 or more days)
For pilots with 20 or more flights, we
will guide you through your final ten flights of the Novice course,
provide technical guidance on all aspects of this sport, and help
you pass the HPAC Student exam.

Rating - $2000
30 or more high flights
(Duration 20 or more days)
For pilots just starting, we will guide
you through your first 30 flights, provide technical guidance
on all aspects of this sport, and help you pass the HPAC Novice
exam.
Note: thirty fights is the minimum number
of flights required to obtain your HPAC Novice rating and safely
start flying by yourself (without an instructor).

2 days on the taining hill, 2 days of high
flights
(Duration 4 days)
For pilots with 30 or more flights, we
will fine tune your launch (forward and reverse), thermalling
and landing techniques. Emphasis is on having clean and safe launches.
Year round training available.

Intermediate Rating - $500
For pilots with 30 or more flights, we
will fine tune your launch (forward and reverse), thermalling
and landing techniques. Emphasis on flight and aviation rules
will allow you to successfully prepare for Transport Canada's
HAGAR examination.
