Solo Lessons I - $200 (tax included)

Starts at 5pm til dark on most Fridays (weather permitting)

(Duration two evenings after 5pm)

This course will prepare you for flight. You will spend a good part of your training time inflating the wing, with the help of our instructor(s), then when you have successfully demonstrated proper technique, we will send you on your first training flight. Expert take off and landing guidance will be provided as well as in-air instructions over a two-way radio.

Solo Lessons II - $400 (tax included)

(Duration 3 or more days)

After spending two evenings training with us (as above), we will start your morning training with theory and ground inflations. Then you will experience two more high flights. Expert take off and landing guidance will be provided as well as in-air instructions over a two-way radio.

Our recommended course for anyone wanting to try just five highflights, then decide if they want to continue their training and eventually get their HPAC Novice rating.

Deimos Student Gear Rental $50 (per day) - (tax included)

For Deimos Paragliding students, that need their own gear (flights 11 or more), you may rent any of our used or new wings, reserve and harnesses for only $50 a day (tax included). In order to ensure the highest level of safety, only wings and harnesses, purchase from us, may be used during our solo courses.

The money spent on renting our gear may be applied to the cost of purchasing one of our new wings or harness packages. Don't worry, you will not be charged if the weather is not flyable. If you rent our gear and happen to damage it, or loose it, then be prepared to pay for the repairs costs and or the full replacement cost(s).

Solo Lessons XX- $500 (tax included)

For pilots with 20 or more flights, we will guide you through your final ten flights of the Novice course, provide technical guidance on all aspects of this sport, and help you pass the HPAC Student exam.

Novice Rating - $1800 (tax included)

30 or more high flights
(Duration 20 or more days)

For pilots just starting, we will guide you through your first 30 flights, provide technical guidance on all aspects of this sport, and help you pass the HPAC Novice exam.

Note: thirty fights is the minimum number of flights required to obtain your HPAC Novice rating and safely start flying by yourself (without an instructor).

XLT - From start to Advanced Rating- $2100 (tax included)

This course will likely span a few years (since you need at least 150 flights for your advanced rating). It includes all of the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced material, plus a thermal / XC course.

Recommended for all new or experienced students.

Solo Lessons XG -$4200 (tax included)

Includes the following gear:
- new Aeros Vitamin wing
- new Charley helmet
- a HPAC flight log book

For students (with five or less solo flights) who are sure that they want to become a pilot, we will guide you through the next 10 flights, provide technical guidance on all aspects of this sport, and help you pass the HPAC Student exam.

Note: for new pilots that have completed this course and now want their Novice rating, you may deduct $600 off the Novice course price.

Solo 222 -$200 (tax included)

2 days on the taining hill, 2 days of high flights
(Duration 4 days)

For pilots with 30 or more flights, we will fine tune your launch (forward and reverse), thermalling and landing techniques. Emphasis is on having clean and safe launches.

Intermediate Rating -$450 (tax included)

For pilots with 30 or more flights, we will fine tune your launch (forward and reverse), thermalling and landing techniques. Emphasis on flight and aviation rules will allow you to successfully prepare for Transport Canada's HAGAR examination.

For pilots with their HAGAR (intermediate) rating, we will fine tune your flying techniques and prepare you for the HPAC Advanced examination.

Flytec 6005 & Intermediate Training - $1000 (tax included)
(Duration 5 or more days)

Flytec 6005 Vario and intermediate course. This includes a Flytec Vario and tandem flight with emphasis on thermalling and acrobatics. For pilots with 70 or more flights, we will fine tune your launch (forward and reverse), thermalling and landing techniques. Emphasis on flight and aviation rules will allow you to successfully prepare for Transport Canada's HAGAR examination.

Public Gear Rental (per day) $50 (tax included)

For pilots with their novice rating or higher, you may rent any one of our new or used wings and harness: Wing rental: $50 (tax included); harness and reserve rental: $10 (tax included); Helmet rental: free.

The money spent on renting our gear may be applied to the cost of our new wings or harness packages. Sorry, no refunds due to bad weather. If you rent our gear and happen to damage it, or loose it, then be prepared to pay for the repairs costs and or the full replacement cost(s).

Self Rescue Training - $50 (tax included)

In just a few hours, you will become familiar with the latest self rescue techniques for those unfortunate tree landings.  This includes repelling and rope climbing instruction (using climbing equipment).

Free Tip: Always carry fifty meters of dental floss in your flight suit.  This will allow you to pull up any gear from the rescue team below, reducing your hang time (and make your dentist proud).  In some critical situations, this could potentially save your life.

VCR - Video Course Review - Free!

Tom will carefully review your video and make suggestions on how to improve your forward or reverse launch.

Just send us a video clip of you hooking in, pre-flighting your gear, and launching. If no problems found you will not be invoiced.
