Characteristics in flight:
Ridge-soaring is a safe and clean fun even in
15 mph winds. Climbs pretty good even in a very
light Costa Rica thermals.
"No input" spiral exit - exits spirals
gradually right after you stop weight-shifting
and braking on the negative side, just control
a small serge at the exit.
Really, really hard to stall - after slowing down
almost completely still needs brakes to be locked
down for a few seconds to completely stall her.
Small cravattes are very easy to get rid of -
needs just a little pump of a brake on the bad
side. Good speed for DHV1.
